Infidu on Dragon's Back

Business travel brought me to Hong Kong this week. The hilly terrain in Hong Kong created a number of very scenic hiking trails. Dragon's Back trail is one of them. It is a coastal trail on the eastern side of the Hong Kong with view of the South China Sea and a few bays. I took the opportunity to explore it with my Infidu over the weekend. Here are some pictures I took during the hike.

I'm guessing they have pretty liberal views / laws on open carry and blade length? :confused:
 
I am planning to go to HK this holiday. Not sure if I could bring my knife there. seeing your pics, its all set then :) . Thanks Don.
 
Nice scenery. It's very cool that such nice trails are just outside such a densely populated city as Hong Kong.

It is fine on the trail but just don't do it in the city. There is no mention about blade length. I just apply some common sense and carry something appropriate for the activity I am doing. It is a very well maintained trail so there is no excuse to carry a big blade. In fact, I was probably the only person carrying a blade on my hip that day.

I lived in HK for 2 years and loved the hikes there.

As a general rule of thumb, any patch of land that does not have development is either vertical or thick jungle. Amazing place.
