Info about stabilized wood, What is it and questions answered.

Hello guys, my name is Ben Greenberg. I mostly hang out in the knife makers forums, but I see lots of misinformation and confusion about what stabilized wood is, when it is needed, and what exactly it does. I think a lot of the information out there comes from knife makers who have not really studied or learned about it, and are mostly going anecdotally.
