Hey all, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with information about this little knife I picked up today. Was at a local knife shop just looking around and this little guy caught my eye. I haven't seen anything like it before and thought it was pretty unique. About the size of a Vic Classic. My wife ended up buying it for me :) If anyone can tell me anything about it or point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Have a good weekend!

Cue large procession of Elephants loudly trumpeting the Australian national anthem.

Before I got to the second pic I thought that messer ist von Germany.
The whale logo has been around a long time.
I have SAK style scout knife with the whale logo.
Solingen is a place in Germany where a lot of knives are or once were made.
Inox is stainless steel.
I may need qualification for this but when it says Solingen AND Gerrmany it means it was actually made there and not overseas.
Pretty basic info ...hope it helps.
It sure is different.

I have a yellow-handled, unbolstered fish knife (clip blade, hook remover/scaler) with that same whale logo on it. It's unlike any other fish knife I've ever seen, as both blades were coated black; I've no idea why. Bought that one back in the late 1980s, as I recall. Never really knew what company was represented by that logo. Now I know.

Just to think at one time a teacher probably GAVE that to a student for doing good on their multiplication tables. Nowadays a kid be brought up on criminal charges and mandatory therapy for having it at school.
I noticed the OP's knife is kinda whale shaped open, complete with an eye printed on it.

Thank you all! This is a good start. Haven't been able to find an image on the internet that's looks like this one yet. And Misplaced Hillbilly you beat me to it! I was gonna say this knife has a definite whale vibe about it. The back spring is different. Almost more of a friction folder than a snappy backspacing knife. Veeeeeery meeeelow dude. That multiplication table knife kicks ass! Mind if I borrow it to send with my daughter to school, only to get booted out for bringing a smart school knife?? The whale of steel. How freaking cool is that?!
