A FRIEND JUST SHOWED ME A BUCK 1972-1982 ? BOWIE STYLE KNIFE IN A WOOD DISPLAY CASE IN NEW CONDITION.WITH NORTH AMERICAN HUNTING ASSOCIATION ON THE BLADE.ANY INFO ON THIS KNIFE INCLUDING PRICE WOULD BE HELPFULL.

I might be able to help but i will need some more information about the knife to correctly identify it for you. Can you tell me what the blade stamp says? Was there any paperwork with the knife? What does it say? How about a UPC code, the last 4 numbers might be the catalogue number.
Of course, if you could send a picture of it, that would help a lot too.

joe thanks for the reply.updated info,1978 to 1988 'north american hunting club' 182 of 2500.(aurum) buck custom.no paperwork.blade 4" oal 8.25" thanks jaf

I am having a rough time finding your knife. Does the blade stamp say "Buck Custom" only or is there a model number too. Maybe there is a model number on the sheath, if there is a sheath. What color is the handle, maybe that will help.
This is a real head scratcher so far but we will get it eventually!

This is a guess but I would say that this knife was a 10 year anniversary commemorative for NAHC.

Aurum is the company that used to do our gold etching before we brought that inhouse.

Joe look in the special projects files circa 86-88.
