This is my first post here but I have been a member for a good while. I am pretty much just a reader in a few of the forums and not much for posting. Anyway, as I was reading through one of the forums I came across one on a knife I am very fond of that I bought for my wife to carry. I was excited about the post and got her to read it. When she was done she had all sorts of questions about the article and what certain words meant about her particular knife. At that point I brought out several knives to show her what those words were describing. In doing so I thought it might be nice (assuming no one has done this) to post pictures of knives with arrows pointing to and describing what the different parts are. There are new people who are not aware of what some of the terms are and might leave the forum because they are to new to understand. Words I had to explain to my wife were Micarta Handles, Piton and Prybar. I think there were a few others but I can not remember them at this hour. This is something I am not technologically capable of doing. If someone else has the time I think it could be a great addition. I would also love feed back on where to put it so they can find it.
