Hello all

New to the forum and first time posting, and I have one question for you guys.
Does anyone have information on the type of steel that goes by MoV6-C60? I can tell the obvious, that it is a Molybdenum-Vanadium steel, and I have found out that C60 steel is a relatively high carbon steel that is used in tools and such.

Now, if anyone has any additional information on this type of steel and how it compares to others, like AUS-8, 420HC or 440A/B/C i would be grateful.

Thanks in advance!

Wow, no replies so far...I guess it's as hard for you guys as it is for me to find something on this type of steel...

Without trying to translate the entire website, it looks to be a european steel, primarily used by or possibly proprietary to the Komet Group, which is Russian I think.
