Info needed- Schrade 498

Hey, so I know nothing about knifes.
I have come across a old knife and seen better days as was found in a wall cavity.
Schrade 498

can anyone tell me how much these are worth?

That's subjective.

Go to eBay, search for Schrade 498 and see what they sold for.

If it's in good shape, it's worth whatever use you can get out of it.
If it's seen better days and shows it - it's yard sale material.

Schrade knives were never high dollar items & they don't have much if any, collector value.
You might try the Schrade forum here to see what kind of interest there may be in it.

In order to ask a dollar value, you have pay to be a certain member level.

Clean it up and use it. Probably it's still good.
