hi guys
forgive me if ive asked this before but ive a rather large ultimate fighter
its about 21 inches long with a spine width of 15 mm weights well over three pounds and nicley carved blade now my question is this is the scabard the one originally supplied with the kuk as the smaller u.f's seem to have a sheath
that follows the shape of the blade a little more closely than mine maybe some of the longer serving forumites may know the answer
thanks mick

i have a larger older u.f. like yours that came in a sheath that was closed on side with a standard frog on it.yours could just be a variation that was made, though the brass wreath looks like an addon.

my appollogise karda ive a memory like a sieve these days thanks for your forbearance:thumbup: and yes the brass wreath is an add on it signifies victory to the previous owner he's a ex royal marine
cheers mick

ps
nagod any chance of a pic of yours and the scabard too
thanks mick

crr
thanks for that when you see it in the flesh so to speak the engraving on it is somthing else im just wondering how many more were made like that
regards mick

if you make the pic as big as you can the engraving really is somthing to see

There was a WWII with dragon engraving like that floating around once, but I've never seen a UF with it. Also never seen one that size. Zombie slayer for sure.

crr hi
its a helluva beast for sure handle is 5.50 inches in circumferance good job ive large hands and not including the bolster area 5.50 inches long and as is said with a 15mm thick spine what it would be like to use if my life depended
on it i dont know i just hope if the bad guys? saw it it would intimidate the hell out of them it is another beauty from the bura stable one of several kuks i have made by him which im really glad about if half the stories about him not being able to make any more kuks due to ill health its a bloody shame about loosing a master craftsman that way i just hope he will pass on his knowledge to the trainees on there way up the ladder.
regards to you mick
