Info on Al Mar

Al died from a brain aneurysm quite unexpectedly. He was a genius at knife designs. I have owned several of his earlier folders and they were custom quality. I wished I had held on to all of them.

I knew he died a while back but didn't know how or when. I have a few Al Mar knives and like them a lot. Especially the older ones.

I had always wanted an Al Mar Pathfinder (I believe that is what it was called)!!!
Sad to see him go!

Thanks RKH. Sad to hear. I recently purchased a SERE folder and it's stood up to the test of time. He was a genius and a great designer.
