Can anyone help me out? I am looking for information on the Benchmade 130 Steve Schwarzer Kuma Zume push dagger. I just got one and I would like to know more about the materials it is made from and anything else I can find out about the design. Can anyone tell me what steel was used? Is the grip made from Kraton?

Hey

glad you are taking an interest in that knife.

From what I know the blade is either GIN-1 or a Sandvik steel. I called Benchmade last year and they didnt have documented information. The handle is Kraton. If you get any other concrete information, I would love to update my database as well. Enjoy the knife

Thanks for the additional information. I hadn't realized that there was a Benchmade forum, but now that I do...

Wow! I had no idea. I picked it up out of curiosity, but I am beginning to see real uses for it.

Thanks for the info!

Bob Q - did you get the box with that?? Mine's a light tan color with blue print. Got it from Mike at New Graham (See dealers for sale here) - he may still have data on the blade material, it was on his web site. Also log on the BM forum - Professor can probably help. Good luck
