Info on Bill Keeler Hawks ?

Hello-

I am looking for a very well built Pipehawk and hammer pole hawk. I've read through a few of the threads here and found some great information and a lot of names that I've been researching. One maker I found and really like the looks of his hawks is Bill Keeler at www.beaverbill.com I really like the looks of his "Lewis & Clark" Hawk, his "1750 English" and "1750 French" Hawks, and his Hammerpole Hawk. They are in my price range at around a $150.00-$300.00. Does anyone here own any of his hawks? I was hoping to get some information and opinions on his Hawks. I really want something good quality and dependable/useable.

Well I'm not sure what to think. Almost 70 views and no answers. Someone has to have one of his hawks or atleast know someone who does. What do you think about it?
 
Here's an answer. I have no experience with his hawks. Here's a question. What do you intend to use it for? If it's for chopping you may want something less expensive. IMO my Cold Steel hawks work fine for users. I would guess that those hawks are very high quality, but I know no more about them than you do. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I greatly appreciate your reply. It would be used for light chores if anything, nothing strenuous. I really enjoy well built quality craftmanship. It's like art to me. I just wanted to check it out with people who may have first hand experience with them.
 
You may want to contact the maker and see what kind of guarantee he has. Perhaps he can send you one to look over and return unused if you're not satisfied..

I have a Keeler Pipe Hawk and a 2 Keeler Spike Hawks. All are great pieces.
