Hello all,
I just registered today. I am a novice knife collector interested in older pocket knifes which means I will be asking more questions than answering.
The knife I need info on is a Boker pocket knife. It has two blades the larger measuring 2-1/2” long. Along this blade it is marked TREE BRAND with a tree between the two words and on the same side of the blade marked on the tang is BOKER U.S.A. On the opposite side of this large blade on the tang is 9696. The smaller blade is 1-7/8” long with no markings. Closed length is just over 3-1/4”. The scales appear to be either bone or antler I am guessing they are bone with a tree emblem on one side. The knife is not in perfect condition but is very good. Would anyone know how old the knife is? I do realize estimating a value is difficult, would this knife be desirable in the collector community?
