A buddy of mine has a couple Colonel Coon vintage knives that were made in the early 80's I believe, in Tennessee. Just trying to figure out if I can find any more info on these knives. He paid a pretty penny for them 5-10 years ago, so we're just trying to see what they're all about, and if it was a wise investment.

I found a little bit of info on them online, but not much. Looks like the company moved north from TN to produce in bigger numbers. He was told that the ones he bought were handmade in TN sometime before the move. Here's a few pics of them. If you need any specific close ups, let me know. Thanks in advance for any info!

Being from Tennessee I have been curious well. Not so much interested in the investment as I am the history and quality. Looking forward to any input on this thread.

We'll give it a day here. If there isn't a lot of activity, it will be moved to the Bernard Levine Forum.
