Info on handle materials

I am trying to make a knife with a handle similar to RJ Martin’s Kozuka. Can someone give me some info as to what type of nylon cords, rayskin, and epoxy should be used? Also, what are some good sources for these types of material? Rayskin and the cords in particular. Thanks!
