Info on Japanese Swords

Where do I go to get information on a Japanese sword? I'm going to take pictures and post it on here as well.. I would like to get it appraised. Any websites with really good info on 300-500 year old japanese authentic swords?

Checked the Canadian site again and he only does appraisals in person. I guess you probably wouldn't want to travel that far.

There's a Japanese Sword Society of the United States at www.jssus.org but I don't see any info on their site on where to obtain an appraisal.

im not really all that sure...especially in your area. if you post good pictures i can give you my opinion but nothing more than that. ive studied Nihontou for the last 9 years so, i can tell you as much as i can, but, i cant give you a real quote or anything like that.
