Info on L.C. Smith custom

Could someone give me some info on this maker. I have a possible trade to receive an L.C. Smith custom 440C cryo treated steel,7.5' blade , rosewood handle. I can't seem to find anything about this maker ( course type "smith" into search and get back 200 topics

Is this indeed a custom knife ? Just wanting to know. A bit more info - 3/16" thick blade
13" O/A Loveless screw type rivets.
Any information is greatly appreciated.
I saw one that had been sold on KF.com and It was going for 100$. The one I like is going for trade . It comes with a leather sheath

L.C. used to forge in my neck of the woods and moved recently to AZ or TX if I am not mistaken.

It is indeed a custom knife.
