Info on machetes?

I saw a Martindale machete, black rubber handle and the crocodile logo. It also has stamped

TRUSTWELLBROSLTD
SHEFFIELD 1945
0199
REGISTER

Because of the date I was wondering if it might have been a military issue in WWII. Anyone know?
Thickness info?

Also I am looking
at a Corona #152 anyone know the thickness?
