Gentlemen,
I am not exactly a knife man, which may become obvious with my question. I have traded into two beautiful custom Bowies, who's makers I am not familiar with. This looked like the place to find such information, so here I am. Knife 1 is a 12" polished steel Bowie with ivory scales. The maker's mark is an old-fashioned key stamped in the top of the blade at the hilt. I assume the maker's name is Key, but that doesn't narrow it down much. Knife two is a 13" Bowie with a damascus blade, and a fine quality stag handle. The maker is "R.F. Miller". Any info, or links to find bios on these makers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Texjack
