Gentlemen,
I am not exactly a knife man, which may become obvious with my question. I have traded into two beautiful custom Bowies, who's makers I am not familiar with. This looked like the place to find such information, so here I am. Knife 1 is a 12" polished steel Bowie with ivory scales. The maker's mark is an old-fashioned key stamped in the top of the blade at the hilt. I assume the maker's name is Key, but that doesn't narrow it down much. Knife two is a 13" Bowie with a damascus blade, and a fine quality stag handle. The maker is "R.F. Miller". Any info, or links to find bios on these makers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Texjack

13" Bowie......

Sounds like Bob Miller from outside St. Louis, MO........he used 'RFM' and 'R.F. Miller' I do believe......e-mail me and I'll see if I can't find his info, just saw it the other day in 'Knives 2004' as I was looking through it.
