I got a model 730 in a trade and it came in today and all I know is its called the 730 and Elishewitz designed it and maybe it was offered back in 2004? Also whats your opinion on this knife? Seems like a nice blade to me. Came in an old benchmade box and I'm just curious about this specific model if you have any more info here's some pics of it

730 Ares, nice knife. They haven't been made in a while. I wold grab one if ever I have the chance. Nice score.

The 730 Ares is one of my favorite designs, hard to find now. I like the spear point blade, the size, and the knife works very smoothly with the axis lock. The closest thing to it is probably the new Axis Stryker that is currently in production.

I want one of these so badly. Its a sweet litle blade. Good design. I think they were offered in 154cm and S30v

Ares is no longer in regular production but it's so popular that here was many sprint runs with high prices.

The 730 Ares was and is a great knife, more valuable without the serrations to many of us. Now wait a minute. First you (the OP) said you got it in a trade. Then said you paid $150. Then want to know what it's worth?? Answer: This is not a mint knife, looks like it got dropped. The value goes down as a result. And I'm not sure if Registered Users can actually ask for a value anyway.

I paid 150$ for the knife I traded so I considered that the amount I payed and also I was just a paid member but it just ran out so sorry
