Info on old Nichols custom knife

Curved brass handle, 13 in. long. Has inlayed indian head nichol on top of handle with Nichols in print over the top, hard to tell the age 40s, 50s, 60s ? With A knife this well made he must have been known. Sheath looks to be custom made, has Fred Cornish, Omaha, Neb. on it. Cannot include pic. file to large

Floyd Nichols, very well known custom maker from Nebraska, made about 1200 knives during WWII. Before that he worked as an artist dealing in western themes.

His knives are pretty high dollar, big knives sell in the $2000+ range.
