I have a sword with a triangular blade. The handel and hilt are made up of metal beads strung on wire in rows, which makes it look ornate. The handel and hilt and cap are in five pieces I store seperatly from the blade. I will try to get a picture of it as soon as I figure out how.
I also have an old english military sword with scabbord with two rings. The blade is slightly curved with a fuller running the whole length. The handel is wood on metal wrapped with twisted gold wire and the guard is large with symbols of the British military. I'll try to get a photo of this as well.
