Info on Schrade LB-4

Would like any information possible on year of manufacture, number produced, and fair ballpark dollar value for on mint in box.
This model is a belt sheath folding.
It is unusual in the design as it attatches to the belt in a horzional position.
Any info I can get would be very helpful being a new member.

usp40c, that knife was produced from 1980 to 1985 , with 5107 knives shipped (this info via orvet's excellent production postings). Fair value fluctuates like the stock market on these things, although the last one I saw sold for about $80 without the box.
