Info on this knife 2

ok, i just got the knife, and while looking almost identical to my other 30, there are a few differences. Where my 30 says "Benchmade U.S.A.", this one says "made in usa", and on the other side of the blade, the butterfly logo is slightly smaller. the most significant difference is that towards the bottom of the blade, just above the hilt, the blade sort of goes in, giving the blade a more narrow profile. you can see what i mean in the picture, where as in my 30, the blade just goes straight down, and the hilt protrudes out just a bit from it. any ideas???

I agreed with what Cameron said, possibly different factories, when i first saw the markings, but then it made me wonder when i noticed the difference in the blade. I dont know the specifics on the 35, but could it be that? thanks for any other help.

It's my understanding that the holes in the 35's handles are countersunk, and the knife in question does not seem to have countersunk holes. My guess is it's a 30.

A 35 would have countersunk holes and hidden pins, so it's definately not that. Looks like a 30 to me also.

Dont worry Cameron, not that i didnt believe you, but Snipe knowing that it was specifically a hollywood sounded a lot more deffinate...just wanted all the info on it that i could find, and i know how much you love to post on here Cameron, so thank you. Thanks for EVERYONES help!

yeah, Chuck and Susan do know tons more than I do, especially when it comes to when the swedges on the 45's were started to be "made" by a machine instead of someone hand grinding, also the differences between the Hollywood 30 and the OR 30.
