Info on this knife?

Hey, looking for any info i can find on this knife including what its worth. It is in new condition. Thanks for any help.

It looks like a Benchmade Model 30. Has it got any markings... say, the Bali-Song butterfly tang stamp on the front of the blade?

Looks like a BM30, what are the markings? I really find pricing on a piece like that to be relative to the market involved. I've seen 30's go from 75 to about 140, depends on who wants it and how bad. Of course condition also plays a role in that.

Looks like I was thinking along the right lines at least.

thanks for all the help so far. i dont know about any markings, as i dont have it yet, but should shortly. just bought it for 120, si figured i would find out what i could before i actually recieved it. thanks again everyone.
 
If it's a BM30 I know from experience that you will not be disappointed. I absolutely love that knife. I have one, with another on the way here and I am thinking about a third that I have a line on if I can't find a 35 first.
 
yeah, i cant wait for it. i'm getting a descent little collection going, and will prob post a pic for everyone after i get this one. That one will be my sixth, all benchmades and one handmade fillipino with box and sheath.
 
I really love my 30S and I keep my eye out for a 35, that would be awesome too. I am praying that I will be able to go to the Blade Show in Oregon next June (2001).

ok, i just got the knife, and while looking almost identical to my other 30, there are a few differences. Where my 30 says "Benchmade U.S.A.", this one says "made in usa", and on the other side of the blade, the butterfly logo is slightly smaller. the most significant difference is that towards the bottom of the blade, just above the hilt, the blade sort of goes in, giving the blade a more narrow profile. you can see what i mean in the picture, where as in my 30, the blade just goes straight down, and the hilt protrudes out just a bit from it. any ideas???
 
One is probably from BM's old location Hollywood and the other is from the new location in Oregon.

Yeah, thats what i thought of in terms of the different markings, but what about the different blade style...same thing?
