Realized last week that I'm down to only 36 (give or take a few) pairs of sunglasses. Went shopping at one of my favorite small retailers for something in a metal frame, with large blue or grey polarized polycarbonate lenses. MUST be LIGHT in weight. I've purchased quite a few expensive sunglasses from this retailer and I trust his judgement and advice.
He recommended a pair of "X-Ray" brand glasses with grey frames. Tried them on - felt great, superb vision. Felt like they were just what I was looking for. Except he told me I could have them for $55.00 (he "deep discounts" so I don't know what the retail price was). He had many other brand names fitting my requirements that he easily could have convinced me to buy at double the price. Kept insisting that I try these $55.00 "X-Rays" instead. Didn't buy them at the time, but probably will.
Anyone know anything about this "X-Rays" brand? I've never heard of them, but the dealer said that they're made by the company that "Sting" (from the group THE POLICE) is involved in (also have a brand called "Police" he told me - but he doesn't stock them)
