Hi all I'm knew to the forum but work with me, sorry if this isn't in the right section. I recently picked up a cooper knive in New York with a 4 inch blade. It has cooper stamped into the side. It came from an older gentleman who had it custom made. The reason he gave it to me is because they are illegal in New York. Any information on the type of knife would be grateful, Pictures should be up as soon as I can figure it out lol

Ok sorry, I can't figure out how to change the thread title, can I still get some information on what style or model this knife is. Thanks!

It looks like your "new" knife has been around for quite a while. It appears to be well made for its intended purpose, mainly a hunter/utility. Probably a carbon steel blade with brass fittings. Can't tell for sure from the photos, but the handle appears to be some pretty good wood.

And finally.... Welcome to the forum. Come back and visit often!
