The Busse-family companies almost never release production numbers, and even when they do, it'll be partial quantities, not actual totals. For instance, regarding a military overrun, they may tell you how many are being sold to the public via a ganza (although they'll usually just say "very few" or "limited quantities"), but they won't release how large the associated military order was. The INFIcoot was an exception, and even then, they just said less than 200.

As far as the knife your describing, my gut feeling is that there are quite a few based on how often I see them come up for sale on the Exchange. I recall that they're often sub-classified by the number of spine serration cuts (4 or 5). That doesn't mean that they're not a very nice piece to have in your collection though.

Per the Swamp Rat Heritage thread it was released at Knob Creek 2006 for about $160...that's all I got besides telling you I love my 2'nd generation HR- great woods blade and the custom shop looks very cool to me!

I'm trying to find the one in the pic. Mine has four serrations and is not sharpened as much on top. I've been looking for other variations for the past few months and had NO luck.
