This knife has been in my family for apx 30yr. On the back, it says "by Gator. Anderson AK" Anderson is the village I grew up in. I'm certain this was given to my dad by the maker, not purchased. Although I was 7 or so, I'm pretty sure I remember which friend it was. I inherited it, stuck it in storage, and never thought about it until I saw what appears to be THE EXACT SAME STYLE OF KNIVES being sold at Bass Pro in Orlando FL. It was too busy to get the clerk's attention. So I didnt get to see the markings on the back of the sheath which I'm guessing he has changes from the simple etching on mine. If anybody knows about these knives, please fill me in.

Its difficult to see, in the photo, but the ram head engraved in the handle has small gold nuggets for eyes and the blade is jeweled.

Trying to get the pix attached, using tapatalk, and not having luck yet
