Hi All,

Can anyone identify this duke 500? Who released it? was it ever in production as a limited edition? It is a closed auction I was watching and did not see listed in the Blades guide. I liked the stag handles but not the colored etching on the blade. I do remember seeing a 110 the was very similar to this but was a likeness of Elvis on the blade and wood box.

Thank you

It seems I recall seeing those in an A.G.Russell add at one time. I may be mistaken though as it was a while back.

Thanks STR,

That must be where I remember the 110 from. It was up for sale along time before it sold. I almost bought that one.....but the colored in etching didn't thrill me. Just like this Duke....nice knife, nice box....:barf: color of the etch. I still wonder who customized this?????

There are several knives like this out there. Mostly 110s and 500s. We have attributed these to Taylor Knives of Kingsport, TN but the more I see the more I am not sure they are the originatior. If you look around you may see the Elvis Presley 110, the 500 Grizzly, the 110 Mt. Fuji etc.

Hi Richard,

Thank you for the info. One of the Elvis 110 is currently up on an un-named for sale site. Though these are different for sure......they just don't do anything for me........but, who knows I just may need them for my collection tomorrow  .
