Since there is not a dedicated axe FS forum, where would I get the best exposure? I guess one could be dropped into production, but the antique double bit should be a custom. Both may fit into the old timey section. I'm t-ing up for a spring cleaning sale and have deemed I can move along these axes.

One is a craftsman hatchet salesman model, ity bity little guy. I think its from the 50's, but there is not a lot of info on them. It came with an original sheath that had a spot for a knife, but I have no idea what the knife looked like. I made a new sheath based on the original. Pretty good condition with original handle and beat up original sheath.

The second one is a double bit with the name MwH co. hand made (Marshall Wells Hardware). the marking is not a stamp but appears to be chiseled in, it's pretty deep and looks like it was written by a little kid. I did some research on it a few years ago and gathered that it was made between 1890-1915. Decent condition, better than I have seen on what could be a 100 year old axe. I started to rehab the edges, but never got around to finishing.

If anyone has additional details on either of these two, please feel free to share. I'm not a big axe guy, but I knew these were both special when I bought them. Both are tough to price out. I'll grab some pics tonight, give them another look over to judge overall condition and provide additional details.

Much thanks!
