Info Wanted

I was wondering is this Spyderco is a collectors item yet, or just a run of the mill? A friend gave it to me a few years back. Been reading the forums and figured this would be a good place to find out what I have. Thanks. GARY

hell ya..they go for about 75-100 on ebay sometimes more sometimes less..called that Q..there are so many variations..one on ebay now..the coors brewing company had one made for them..there are other companies that have commissioned spyderco to do their logo..nice piece..this was my first one that i ever had..sad to say that i lost it..

These have definitely become collectors. The one you have is the most common, also probably the most liked by non collectors. As hardkiss stated many variations. Here's my link with many pics http://home.comcast.net/~boxer93/q2.html . Also for clarification the coors one on ebay is a prototype made to try to sell to coors. It appears from the text in the auction that coors issued a cease and desist order to prevent more from being made. Since this is a one blade prototype, which I've only seen the picture of one other one. I expect this to be way up there in collector value.
