So, you ever just kick back at home and watch some infomercials because it's Saturday and nothing else is on? It's funny to see how they make their knives look like quality when they are not.
But look at these knives http://www.ronco.com/products/knives.di4?productID=16 ! Even if they are sort of shisty, It's only $40! Maybe I'll keep them for in the trailer or something.
Has anyone held or used any of these? I'm not expecting much, but they do have a great warranty with them.
Or, can anyone find me something better to spend $40 on?

Wow, $852.75 worth of knives for only $39.99+S&H! What could be better?

For the close to $50 you could spend on them, my suggestion would be to buy a slicing knife and a chef's knife made by forschner.

Just my .02, though. Take it for what it's worth. It's the same advice I give folks who start considering cutco.

Ive actually seen those, theyre not bad. I have a friend who's wife bought him the Chef Tony (no this isnt an endorsement) set. They were sharp as hell in the beginning, but after a few washings, they started to rust bad, and due to their scalloped edge and odd shapes, are hard to sharpen well.
I went to the local restaurant supply store and got him an 8" chefs knife, bread knife, 2 paring knives, offset tomato knife, boning knife and truing steel for 130 bucks. If you dont need all that, you could probably get the chefs knife, steel, bread knife and boning knife for 70-80 bucks.
