I’m not a CRK guru on timelines and all that type stuff and don’t claim to be. I do and have owned several inkosi’s. Do some bad ones slip out the door from time to time? Sure do, hell I’ve had one. But that’s what their warranty department is for and they took care of it no questions asked. If your not satisfied when you get yours talk to your dealer or Crk. Take a breath and calm down before you go crazy. Hell message a few folks here. I have a red Inkosi and Ksf has always had good customer service in my experience.
I drive Chevy trucks and ford work vans. I had issues with a Duramax engine in under 50k miles (nothing major) and I had a transmission drop out of a E-250 with 60,101 miles on it and left me on the side of parkway on the way to Mississippi to work. I’ve had other Ford work vans with 300k plus on them and they’re still running strong. Same with Chevy pickups. Every now and again shit happens. I’ve had brand new USA made work boots arrive and send them back because the sole was coming apart directly from the factory. The same with USA made pants. I bought a Tv and it worked for 35 seconds and quit. Every warranty department or dealer took care of me. Doesn’t make it any easier and creates a little bit of unexpected trouble but that’s just life, what can ya do.
Today at work I had to go back and check something an apprentice did. I made him redo it. If I hadn’t have checked it and we left, someone would’ve thought I did it bc I’m the one who was in charge, or that I thought it was ok. I don’t have forty employees to keep up with. Sometimes things slip by. Hell good help is hard to come by these days. Even today he thought it was ok, he wasn’t intentionally doing it wrong he just didn’t know. Now he does.
I’m not making excuses for Crk or anything like that, but they do make great knives and have a great team. Like others have said they’re not for everyone. I do know that this was my first Inkosi and it has been used and worked

It has not been abused but it has seen a ton of work. I work as an electrician. There’s a ton of uses for a knife in construction. I stay outdoors and in the woods as much as I can. I use my knives. All I use is CRKs, that’s it. I trust them without a doubt. 21s, inkosi’s, umnumzaan, all of them. Crk May be having some issues right now, I’m sure it’ll get sorted out if they are. I’ve never handled a 31 so I don’t know. All of my Inkosi’s are rock solid. You’ll be just fine with your Inkosi, if not send it back no biggie. I stab trees with mine and post pictures here. Yep I’m 34 and I still like to just go stab a tree. I don’t worry about the lock failing on me while I’m doing it either. I trust the CRKs I own
