For anyone in the Southwest WA and Northern Oregon area that is interested we are having a get together this Sunday 10/26/08 to beat on knives, practice fire making skills etc...

Meet at the Skamania County EOC at noon.

I wish. It is too long of a drive. I really would love to meet some real life other Busse owners, or Siegle owners, or ScrapYard or SwampRat owners. I still have never seen another living soul that owns one.

It would give me a chance to drool over others collections, and try out different models, and steels.

Maybe I need to organize a get together in Eastern WA. Anyone got a back 40 wooded lot?

Oh, and Snakedoc I think it is Warshington, and probably Crick as well.
 
Oh man, sorry to have to miss this. Be sure to let us know when you are doing it again. Seems like we have quite a few folks here from the PNW who would be interested.
 
I would be there except that day is our annual "take my mother to see TroutLake Area Fall leaves" day. So I will be in the area, but not free to be "there".

Sorry we are going to miss you guys. River 8 does this from time to time so there will be opportunities in the future. I doubt we will be doing this agian this year between hunting season & being on call and then the holidays not many free weekends left. Maybe again in the spring and through the summer and fall for sure though.

Mike, It all depends on Jesse. If he decides to go we will need more room. If not I can drive.

Took a few swings to get the area cleared around the tree but sunlight is finally hitting where it hasn't touched in years :)

The carnage was breath-taking :eek: !!

Planning to burn LOTS of stuff this Sunday (if it rains)...

We're teaching an I-400 class Thursday and Friday, and then start the next series of CERT classes Saturday - Gak :o

So; by Sunday I'll be SO ready for some outdoor destruction :D:D !!
For anyone interested, this will be hard labor. There will be absolutely NO fun allowed :grumpy: .

This will be hideous!!

Sunday sounds like fun.... too bad the the wife and I will be in Astoria all weekend getting a little soggy R&R.. Have a nice weekend everyone!
