Just a random idea I had after searching every Fiddleback Friday thread for 2012. Andy builds what he wants and what he has material for and that is fine by me. BUT, I was thinking if dedicated fans and consumers alike post pics and/or descriptions of what they are interested in (with reasonable intent to purchase of course) then Andy could use the info for inspirational purposes during production weeks. He may not have the exact color or exact materials, but style combinations and such could be helpful. It would also provide somewhat of a list of popular request materials and styles for him to possible acquire in the future (if he so chooses).
Example: I've seen work with 1 decorative pin and thought it add a nice touch. Or tapered fangs seem to be popular.
Personally I like the orange and blue liners with almost any wood that provides reasonable contrast. I love tapered tangs. Curly maple with blue liners, tapered tang and a decorative pin in a Bushfinger would be sweet for me.
Andy can use it or not, but at least it would be fun...plus we get to see what everyone is in to! I would start with pics from the ones I have collected, but haven't figured out how to post from an iPhone.

Let it roll...

I agree, I am not certain though if Andy Roy likes that approach. Why not putting out whatever his talent tells him and once in a while make some wishes come true!!
I would be willing to pay upfront if I could get what I'd like.

Yeah, I guess this could act more like a market test to see what everyone is interested in. In essence it "could" help show what the clientele desire and if it is Andy bidding some people may get their wish. Got to get some pic going...just a few of my favorites!!!

The emerald stuff lately is really nice.....red or orange liners would be a plus. Here's a couple more pics.

Nice bushfingers pics EKG! I really like the cocobolo and ash burl. I think that one was 154ss also!

I like the performance of 154 especially in folders, but I do really like the patina non-stainless steels form. It's looks great on fixed blades.

In October, Andy retired his old Nessmuk pattern and is no longer making that style. He said he is going to redesign the pattern from the ground up.

I wanna see the new Muk!

Any preferences in wood/synthetics or striping? I hoped this could be a place Andy could/would visit say before ordering materials to seen what his client has is wanting for handle combos. Either way its nice to see what everyone desires these days.

Those jade G-10's with the striping that light up the g-10 are really awesome. Like the doublemint, orange burst, etc. Its amazing how the liner striping lights up that g-10.

Anyone know how the jade/natural g10 holds up against stains from say blood, oil, grease, etc. Anyone have pics of a used older knife in this configuration? Do you have to clean it often?
