Information On A Old Knife

I don't know anything about this knife, can anyone please tell me something about it?

It isn't very old. Indian, made for export. I think I paid about $3.98-5.98 for one in the 1980's. Thought it was cool until I couldn't sharpen the mystery steel.

Doubt it has increased in value.

Thank you both, all I know is that it has the carvings CCC. Couldn't find anything about it on the internet.

They usually have "INDIA" stamped somewhere in the blade, but not always. The carvings and the brass guard+sheath latch are consistent though.
