I've recently ordered a Citadel (black 92mm blade), and I tried looking up the blade on Spyderco.com. But there is ZERO information to be found there, it doesn't seem to even exist.
I don't think the knife is discontinued, and even if it was, it should still be there.
What's up with the Citadel?

I think their autos are only on their SAS catalogs. It's s30v

Huh, that is strange there is no information on it in the Spyderco website, it might have something to do with it being a Restricted model.

That is exactly why, automatic knives are illegal in Colorado, USA, Earth - I'm not sure if only law enforcement can own or use them with the addition of active duty military when on the job.

Luckily, the state I live in they are not restricted and I do own one (C1117). What were you interested in finding out?

Well I ordered one but the order's just been canceled, exactly because of the restrictions you guys already mentioned. In Holland I am allowed to own automatic knives, just not carry them (it is legal for collector's purposes, in other words).

I still want one. If I understand it right, restrictions in the US are not a national thing, they are local or State-wide? In Arizona they are legal for everyone?

As far as I am aware, there is no national (read as Federal) law against owning an automatic knife. To put it briefly, the law in Arizona changed from a fairly strict (cannot carry/cannot own to a carry whatever you want now). Kind of strange the 180* swing from one extreme to the other.
I'll PM you some details.

Arizona has never has had strict carry laws. You could always carry NOT concealed anything that you wanted as far as state law. Local laws were stricter in some cases. Ownership has never been restricted.

The only "swing" has been on concealed carry which was recently changed.

It is the interstate transfer of Auto's that is an issue. State laws vary, but sending one via USPS or common carrier is a federal crime (I am being simplistic).
