Can anyone tell me something about my Dads pocketknife? He carried it for years, even used it for steaks when he went out to eat. It's a Case XX folder with 2 blades and yellow bone panels. The model number I believe is 3299 1/2. Thanks guys.
First off WELCOME to Blade Forums!!! Great people and opinions here! Enjoy the stay!!!
The first number is the handle material,in this Case yellow synthetic. The second number is always the number of blades.Two. And the subsequent digits are the blade style. To date the knife you need to accurately explain in detail how the word Case the number of dots or X's and whether or not it says USA and what sequence it all appears on the blade. IE:
Case XX
USA
*****
Would read as 1975 It's kind of complicated.
Peace.
