I really would appreciate some help please, I bought this in a hurry, I think but I don't know for sure if it's a 2002 model, I paid a $100.00 for it, then found out later that there were some really cheap versions, did I b buy a decent knife, I tried ID-ing it but haven't found one exactly like it yet.
Thanks in advance.
Hope that I get the images deal right, haven't posted in any forums in a long time.

The larger guard, "match striker" spine, and lack of laser engraving all point to a model made after the 97-01 period.
The handle spacer pattern is consistent with other 2002 Marbles knives.
So yes, it's more than likely a 2002 Woodcraft.
I believe it's still USA made out of 52100 even though the company was sold around that time.
2002 was still before Marble's was turned into an...offshore brand.

A guy (O. Christopher) published an article a while ago on dating Marbles knives (I have two from Mike Stewart's era there, a Fieldcraft and a Campcraft). You can date them by the washer/ spacer patterns: early 1920s: B-Br-R-Br-B; early 1930s: R-Br-B-Br-R-Br-B;
1997: B-Br-R-R-Br-B-Br (pattern reverses on pommel end of handle); 1998: B-W-Br-R-R-Br-W-B; 1999: B-Br-W-R-R-W-Br-B; 2000: B-Br-Br-W-R-W-Br-Br-B; 2001: B-W-Br-R-Br-W-B; 2002: B-Br-R-W-R-Br-B.

Thanks very much, I'll check that out, I found an article on cutsandcarve that that detailed the washer pattern and that's how I came up thinking it was a 2002 model.

Thank you very much for the information, it helps a lot and I feel much better knowing that I didn't buy some really cheap version, this one will do me until I buy a nice much older version, it will go nicely with my nice old Marbles Woodcraft "Serif A facing left – 1911 – 1930s era" with a leather handle.
