Hey Guys,

What can you tell me about the GB Scandinavian Axe compared to the GB Small Forrest Axe?

How much more work do you get out of it? Is it worth the extra weight?

What would you use the Forrest Axe for and what would you use the Scandinavian Axe for?

Thanks,

G

the main difference is the handle length and it weighs a tiny bit more. if you plan on hiking go with a small forest but if you plan on doing heavier work and dont plan on hauling it up the mountain the scandinavian forest might be a bit more useful as the longer handle will give a bit more power on strikes. Ill add that i picked up a small forest axe yesterday and i love it, it came razor sharp as would all their axes

if you decide either way i would also recommend the axe stone they make it will get you a razor edge in a few minutes

hope i helped

Caleb
