Any Information Please on the "Schrade Cut Co Bicentennial Whittler set" there is not much information about on these nice knives...

They are based on the 804 split back whittler pattern. A nice 4" handful of knife. The sabre cut blades are thicker than the production version. The Delrin handles are fairly unique in color. They were made in 1976 (obviously why they are bicentennial). I don't know if they were made from old parts, but I've heard that. Not sure how many sets were produced either. Right now they are selling low, good time to pick up a set. They came in a greenish brown hinged case with nice felt drawstring bag for each knife. I've never seen any official paperwork on this set.

Thank You thawk for the reply, I have just found a set, and payed about the price of an "Old Timer 8OT" by two, for them.
I do not know what I should have payed for them, only what I wanted to pay for them... Ken
