Information Request: Carbon Fiber Handles to fit Benchmade 806D2

Fellow forumites,

I recently purchased a Benchmade 806 D2 AFCK and would absolutely love to get some Carbon Fiber handles for it. Are there any knifemakers out there who could cut some CF to fit or is there someplace i could buy handles ready made?

I've already found several sources for sheets of carbon fiber but as i am a novice to working with this material, i would rather purchase ready made scales.

(I've also heard that CF can be hazardous to work with)

Well the more i research this the more assured i am that i will not be able to accomplish fitting new custom CF scales to this knife so if there are any knife makers out there who have done any modifications like this before and would be willing to do so again, please let me know.

using the search function i found several posts about scale replacement on axis lock benchmades including this one
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191699 which references an apparent issue with a protruding spring underneath the scales.
