Can anyone give me information on this knife please. The 4 inch convex blade has what appears to be a crossed bombs stamp and Rostfrei (rust free). The handle scales are stag with apattern on the copper rivets. The finger black guard is probably resin. The leather sheath is original with the same logo as the blade but no belt loop or clip and appears never to have had either.

try editing the post to add a space between the period of the sentence before the link and the "/" at the start of the link.

Hi Steve, I have tried that without success. This is my first post involving photos. I wonder if it is something to do with being a paying subscriber.

If you go to the tech section of the forum there are guides.

The easiest for me is just upload to imgur.com and paste the link here

As a registered user, you can post pictures using a picture hosting site. There are several free ones.
If you use imgur,
create a free account
Click <NEW POST>
Follow the directions to upload.
Once a picture has been uploated, go to the top right and mouse over the bubble with the first letter of your user name. That gives you a drop down.
Select "Posts"
That will show all your images. Click the image you want to post, then to the right at the top, copy "GRAB A LINK" address.
Then go to your post and click the "insert Image" tool on the tool bar. (It is located between the LINK tool and the SMILEY tool.)
Paste the picture address into the resulting popup, then click "Insert".

What you posted are not links they are file locations of the images on your computer drive.
You need to have the image hosted on a server, and post the links to that image on the server.
