Did you see his work at the show? I picked up a new fighter based on the Chinese Dao sword. It is is fast, sharp, and awesome. His work is top rate and I am surprised that not many people on the forums are familiar with his custom fighters - they are some of the best.

Yes, I saw Bobs work at the show and I had never seen it before. The fixed blades were really nice although I'm not crazy about leather sheaths. That folder with the fat bellied blade was real nice too, I'm gonna get in touch with him.

I understand about the leather sheaths. Actually, this was the first year he actually had sheaths for his knives! he usually doesn't have sheaths because, like many makers, he finishes his knives just before he leaves for the show and doesn't have time to make sheaths or get kydex ones made.

He showed an interest in dabbling with kydex....
