Hi, I am new to this knife forum. I recently inheireted a marble's sheath knife that has W.L. Marble Gladstone Mich. on the blade. A friend said this was rare?? I showed it to a guy at a recent gun show and he offered me $300.00 for it.. I almost sold it but decided to keep it. oh yeah it is 9 1/8" total length. blade measures 4 3/4" long. it has black spacers with stag handles and pommel. grips held in place by 4 pins. the scabbard is a long leather tube with a belt loop on the back when knife is placed in tube the only thing showing is the pommel. no markings on scabbard.I actually inheirited a collection of marble's knives. 20 in all. all different. some with m.s.a. ect. was told this W.L. Marble was the oldest and most valuable?? any idea on value. Thanks V.S.

It DOES sound like you have some nice knives there, so it's worth the effort to get a bunch of opinions here!!
