So basically as the title of this post states: I inherited a collection that I know nothing about. I'm hoping that there might be some folks on here willing to share their knowledge. In this post I'm only posting the ones that appear handmade and I will post the others in their respected sub forums.

I have more photos of each knife I just didn't want to clutter this up TOO much with photos.

I DON'T CARE WHAT THEIR WORTH. I AM ONLY LOOKING TO FIND OUT WHAT EXACTLY THESE ARE!
First knife I was told is melted aircraft or something of that sort? NO STAMPS ANYWHERE.

Welcome!

1. Topmost knife is usually categorized as a WWII 'Theater' knife. The clear acetate is a standard. Oftentimes handmade on ships in the pacific by individuals in the Service. Nice job!

2. Nice work on this one. Especially the stag handle. Not a clue on maker, although it has that eighties vibe going on with brass. Might have been a kit blade fitted by a craftsman. In fact, that's my first bet. Unsigned because it was a hobbyist.

3. I thought I might be able to help you on the 'NP' knife, but no. I looked through ALL the Knives Annual 1990 and 2000 makers with last name of 'P' for a clue. Nothing. Well done, nice grinds by an expert. Someone may recognize him.

4. Another nice hobbyist maker. 99 times out of 100 when they stamp their initials, it's a skilled craftsman, not a maker of renown.

5. That's for the Bernard Levine forum. Those guys know. KILROY!

Thanks for joining and asking. Good score.

Nice by bunch of steel you have there. All great pieces from probably a stretch of over 50 years!!

I know I'm late in my reply, but I appreciate all the information you guys gave. Just didn't want it to go unnoticed. Thanks!!
TLTT- its probably more from the 80's-90's at the latest because he kinda got away from collecting when he had his 4th kid. (me) but you're definitely right that is the kit blade for that knife. thanks for the link
