Hello all. My grandfather passed away a few months ago and my father found these knives while looking through some of his things. My dad offered them to me and my gladly accepted. This is the only picture I have at the moment until I actually get the knives in hand. Can anyone tell my anything about these?

Looks to be two Barlow pattern knives, an Imperial Camp knife, and I think, a Whittler pattern on the far, though it might be a stockman.

That's funny, my great grandpa carried that exact same forest master scout knife, and eventually it got passed it down to me as well.

My condolences to you and yours for your loss, usfpaul82. Those knives will be fine mementos of your grandfather for you.

I have to confess that you and irona are making me feel old, though (which I am, I guess :D)! I have a Forest-Master like that, too, but I didn't inherit it from a grandfather or great grandfather. It was my first knife when I was a kid! :o

My condolences on the passing of your grandfather.

The stockman on the left may be a Camillus, or Western, but I'm leaning Camillus. The barlow at No. 2 looks like a Colonial. The last barlow could be Imperial, could also be japanese, hard to tell.

I'm thinking around 1960-1970 vintage, maybe a little earlier. The first one, the stockman, has a solid bolster construction. The others look to have some form of stamped shell construction (thin metal stamped in the shape of a hollow bolster or cover.) They do not have much collector value, but as a sentimental piece that your grandfather owned/carried, they are priceless to you, I would imagine. They would make excellent user knives.
