Fulloflead gave a positive review of these two knives on June 21. Looked good to me so I checked around and found great deals on both from Knife Supply.

Both knives are flawless. Fit and finish are wonderful. Both very sharp. They will cut everything I need to cut. I had to play with and adjust the CRKT some to ensure that the assisted opening feature really works. But it snaps open now just fine. Partly, I think, there is a learning curve involved. You have to get used to popping that stud just so. The gold accents and polished blade make the CRKT a very pretty knife. Being retired Air Force, I really like the riveted panel finish on the Kershaw. The flipper on the Kershaw also takes a little practice, but works just fine once you get the hang of it.

Both are great for EDC with casual or dress slacks, having flat, thin, profiles due to the lack of scales. Scale/liner is the same thing. All steel.

For less than 75 bucks total, here are two EDC knives that look good and get the job done unobtrusively.
