Inkosi firesteel spine notch?

The notch on the Inkosi spine seems perfect for use with a firesteel.
I know it is a transition between the rounded frontpart and the chamfered backpart.
Has somebody thought about making one or both sides of the notch sharp so a firesteel can be used with it?
IMHO would this addition make it an even better outdoor workknife.

I know this is an old thread, but I've searched for this a few times for this and decided to test it myself. While no part of and greyed materials on the Inkosi will strike firesteel, including the flat spot, the jimping area works perfectly for this. I tried it on a couple of different firesteels, and it works with all of them, including the ones with the magnesium bar attached. I also like that it's safe to hold the knife that way, so the blade can't swing out unintentionally from the sometimes violent movement caused by striking the firesteel. And it strikes perfectly with the knife held perpendicular to the firesteel. I was a bit surprised how well this worked. And after a dozen or so uses, I see hardly any aesthetic impact to the knife. I wouldn't use it regularly for this purpose, but I now know it would work fine in a pinch.

I asked CRK. It is not meant to be used as one but I thought the same thing.
