Good day CRK Fans. I got my Inkosi and love it. I have size medium hands and it fits perfect in my grip. It's going to replace my Wilson Combat Sebenza 25. I love it!!!!! Now, off to sale the WC Sebenza 25
Don’t get me wrong, I love the larger pocket knives. It seems the older I get the less need I have for the larger knifes. I camp a lot and used all of my knives for daily tasks, but kept going for the smaller folders. Eventually the smaller folders would break or bend and I end up getting a new one. Most of my life I used a smaller pocket knife (SAK, Gerber, Buck 110, and SpyderCo D4) as an EDC. My first real pride knife was the Sebenza 21 and fell in love right away. I knew nothing of Chris Reeves and his product, but I saw that knife and wanted it right away. Just to let you know, I traded it for a Glock 19 and still love the trade, but missed the small 21. Then the WC Sebenza 25 came out. I ordered it right away…LOL… I loved it, but never really used it comfortably. It worked and it killed any task I had for it, but it didn’t feel right, so I would grab my Delica 4 most of the time. Then I heard about the Inkosi. I loved the shape and size. I ordered it. Three months later it arrived at my doorstep and I’ve used it every day. It opens a little stiff and the clip is strange to see sideways because it looks to be loose, but it’s a small tank. Fits well in the pocket. It doesn’t get in the way of my keys. I don’t struggle to get my keys out and the size is all I need to use without thinking I’m going to break the knife. Yes, I open cans and beer bottles with it. I carve into wood. I make walking sticks from hikes with it (With Gloves). And I cut the occasional orange, steak, and apple with it…. It’s a great little knife to use Every Day.

The Inkosi displaced a small Insingo as my favorite EDC.

Can a picture be posted with the Inkosi and their small Seb side by side across the palm of your hand please? I'm trying to get more of a sense of how it will feel in hand. I like the small Seb, and I'm really also on the fence about the Inkosi. I will admit it is pretty cool looking, and hey, it's a CRK. :)

Would need to send it in though and swap out the blue for silver. Not a blue fan. But that's me.

**Wavicle - you carrying it pocket clipped, or in the pocket? I'd guess pocket clipped would feel about the same as a small Seb then right?

I carry it both clipped to pocket (jeans & tactical pants) but in the small CRK leather pouch when in casual/dress pants at work. It does feel almost the same as the small Sebenza in terms of clipped pocket carry (length is so close)

I don't have "in hand" comparison pics, but here are a few that may help gauge it's size. These are all the small size models:

Ah, yeah that's a helpful pic. I've a starbenza too so that's a good reference. I guess I'm still not seeing that I'd want to get one. I do like that handle shape but it's kinda pretty much the same length as the small it seems, with a shorter blade. Dunno. But I suppose I'll end up with one eventually. Lol.

I like the little higher thumb ramp and the jimping on the Inkosi compared the small 21 or Starbenza. The improved ceramic ball lock groove on the tang is interesting. If you look back at the other photos you'll see that small groove going across the blade tang, which is where the ceramic ball travels as it engages. The hollow grind and slightly thicker S35VN blade stock is also something I like. It feels more durable and may prove to be just that. Double thumb studs are nice, but I have a hard time trying to use the left hand side since it's so tight to the lock bar when closed.

Went to a holiday party at a watch dealer in town with a buddy and found out they are a CRK dealer!!! I had no idea!! Yahoo!

To the point, I was able to play around with the Inkosi. Love everything about it except the finger groves were too small/close together for my hand... :( Glad I was able to hold one in person. Super nice knife. I don't think you could hurt that knife in a nitro-glycerin plant. Unbelievable build.

They also had a TI-lock and a Large 21 wood inlay (guessing cocobolo)... TI-lock wasn't for my needs either although super sweet knife. The wood inlay I can't get out of my head. Up until that night, the only CRK I have been able to handle are the ones I buy. I have all plain janes as I wasn't crazy about the look of inlays. Love my janes, but those inlays are sugary nipples sweet in person. Along with that, they feel great in the hand. I wasn't able to play long enough as it was a super busy on a celebratory evening, but I will for sure be going back.

Still in shock I have CRK dealer in my town and I knew nothing about it. :D

Great Comparrison Pics...! B

Thank you for the review with pictures. I am still not a fan of the INKOSI. I will keep using my small Sebenza 21.

I wear medium gloves also and find the finger grooves on the 25 to be just about perfect for me. I am a bit worried that the new finger grooves will be "tighter" and less comfortable.

Thanks for the review, so how do the finger grooves feel?
